Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. She is an American actor who has a reputation for playing strong but vulnerable character. Linney was raised in a theatrical family her father was the playwright Romulus Linney. She received her degree from Brown University, and then went on to study at Arts Theatre School Moscow.
